The
property just west of the main house was part of the Stillman
Ranch and home of the Paradise and Pacific Railroad. In
1947, the McCormicks established an Indian Arts and Crafts
center on Pima Road near Shea Blvd. The center consisted
of 7 hogans built from materials transported from the
Hopi Reservation. Two of the three hogans were later relocated
to the park. The third is now located at the Heard Museum.
