Located
in the historic Aguila Depot, Hartley's General Store features
a variety of food and beverage items like hand-dipped ice cream, Icee
drinks, soda and hot dogs. Hartley's General Store was designed as an
old-time general store complete with souvenirs such as Thomas the Tank
and Brio. The store was made possible by a donation from Hartley and
Ruth Barker, with matching funds provided by the Scottsdale Railroad
and Mechanical Society. |

The
Snackstop is a favorite for many park visitors. It operates out
of a Southern Pacific Railroad Caboose. Remodeled with funds
provided by the Scottsdale Railroad and Mechanical Society, the Snackstop
offers hamburgers, hot dogs, yogurt, beverages and many other items.
Refreshments can be enjoyed on an attractive, covered patio overlooking
one of the two playgrounds at the park.w |

Roy's
Train World at the Park
is your one-stop shop for model railroad trains, parts, supplies and
repairs. Roy's Train World at the Park
is located in the Peoria Depot, which was an On Route Station
for the Santa Fe, Prescott & Phoenix Railway. It provided railroad service
south from Ash Fork, Arizona when other railroads were failing financially.
Built in 1894 at a cost of $1,455, the depot was purchased by the Scottsdale
Railroad and Mechanical Society in 1972 and moved to the park in 1974. |
