About 1,000 children and their families attended the 19th annual Special Day for Special Kids event Sat., April 10 at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park, hosted by the Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary Club, and assisted by students in the Scottsdale Unified School District’s Service Learning Program and park staff. The event is held for special needs children as well as underprivileged youth and their families.
